Nemesis Legacy has opened on Gamefound with a substantial crowdfunding audience. The first decision is smaller than the campaign’s collection of boxes suggests: do you want the €89 standee edition or the €129 miniature edition, and can your group commit to its cooperative campaign?
Awaken Realms announced the launch on October 6. In our October 7 observation, third-party tracker Tabletop Analytics displayed €3,545,934 pledged and 10,125 backers, against a €50,000 goal. Those are a dated tracker snapshot, not independently verified live Gamefound counters, delivered copies or a verdict on the game. The creator also says the project funded in under a minute; that is its own claim, not a timing measurement by GameGuideDog.
The audience is a reason to look closely. It is not a reason to buy every expansion. GameGuideDog has not played Nemesis Legacy; this is a reported buyer analysis, not a firsthand review.
Start with the campaign, then choose the figures
The official rewards list two core choices: €89 for the standee version and €129 for the miniature version. Both descriptions include the full Legacy game, one Recharge Pack, Infinity Mode and unlocked stretch goals. These are listed pledge prices, not verified totals after shipping and taxes.
That makes the €40 difference a component-choice question before it becomes an add-on question. If you are deciding whether the central campaign suits your group, do not mistake the larger miniature pledge for a requirement to receive the campaign or its reset pack. The official descriptions include those in both core options.
Awaken Realms describes the main Legacy campaign as fully cooperative. That distinction matters for anyone arriving with expectations about playing against the other people at the table. The publisher pitches interconnected missions, permanent changes and a story lasting more than 35 hours. The duration is a publisher claim, not our measured playing time.
A long branching campaign asks for a different commitment from a game chosen for an occasional evening. The practical first check is whether the people you want to play with want that continuing story. The funding counter cannot answer it.

Resetting the campaign is different from playing one-shots
The included Recharge Pack is the publisher’s answer to restarting a game that changes permanently. Its description says it lets players restore the game and begin a new campaign. That is a useful inclusion to identify before comparing prices; it does not establish how much work a reset takes or how a second campaign will feel.
Infinity Mode provides standalone missions outside the Legacy campaign. The launch update says it can be played cooperatively or semi-cooperatively, before or after the main campaign. So the product separates a continuing cooperative story from a mode with a different session structure and an optional different relationship between players.
For a group that cannot maintain a campaign schedule, that distinction is worth investigating. It is not evidence that the standalone mode replaces every reason to buy the campaign. There is no hands-on verdict here about balance, onboarding or replay quality.
The official video at the top of this page is Awaken Realms’ February reveal trailer, not a new launch trailer or an independent review. Its preview is older promotional artwork; the “Follow now” wording in that image predates the live campaign.
The new aliens do not all belong in the main story
The launch update’s evolved-race vote creates an easy purchasing misunderstanding. Awaken Realms says the winning race will be free for core-game pledges, while the other will be a paid add-on. These evolved races are intended for Infinity Mode and Nemesis Retaliation, not the main Legacy campaign.
That scope is more important than the promise of another enemy box. If your interest is the central campaign, an extra alien race should not be treated as extra campaign chapters. Check the compatible mode before treating any stretch goal or optional purchase as essential.

November 2027 does not mean every language or every box
The official FAQ update estimates the first English split-shipping wave for November 2027, including the core game and reprints. It estimates a second English wave for Q2 2028 for expansions and some stretch-goal content, with that content split not final. These are fulfillment estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.
The same update puts localized editions roughly six to seven months after the corresponding English wave. Do not read November 2027 as a promise for a Polish edition or for all campaign content to arrive together. Check your chosen language and shipping arrangement against the current campaign terms.
We have not verified the complete current shipping and tax charges. The €89 and €129 figures should therefore stay separate from the amount you ultimately pay. Before backing, check the reward contents, language, applicable taxes, shipping estimate and wave arrangement directly on Gamefound.
Nemesis Legacy has enough observed demand to deserve attention. The useful next step is to choose the mode your group will actually play, then the component edition, and only then compatible extras. That keeps the decision tied to the table rather than the size of the campaign.
