VOID/BREAKER has reached 1.0 on Steam with Zone 6, a final boss and the story conclusion. But the November 4 launch also changes the buying advice: Playstack says it has taken down the demo, so older announcements encouraging players to try it first are now out of date.
For returning Early Access owners, the other important distinction is between the completed game and its optional extras. Playstack previously promised those buyers the Supporter’s Pack automatically. That is a publisher commitment, not an entitlement delivery we have tested.
What 1.0 finishes
Developer Daniel Stubbington’s launch notes list Zone 6 and the finale alongside a new museum that acts as the endgame hub. After completing the narrative, players can run through zones 01–06 in a linear sequence. For someone who stopped during Early Access, the concrete reason to return is the announced ending and the structure available after it.
The weapon list grows too: the notes add an LMG, plus the Revolver, Flamethrower and Entity rifle as endgame weapons. The update also brings inventory menus for revisiting tutorials and intel, a lifetime-statistics board and a run summary on death. These are developer-described changes, not conclusions from our own playthrough.

The demo advice has expired
The October 1 announcement explicitly recommended a free demo and said its progress transferred to the full game. The newer launch post says the demo has been removed. The older post describes an offer that the launch announcement has since withdrawn.
That matters if an older announcement is what brought you to the store. Do not plan a purchase around being able to download that demo now. The full-release announcement supersedes the earlier recommendation; it does not establish that a replacement trial is coming.
Check ownership before buying extras
The Steam-only Supporter’s Pack is optional. Playstack lists seven weapon chassis, the soundtrack, an art book, a custom gravity-tether color and additional cosmetic effects. The soundtrack is also offered separately, despite being included in the pack.
In its October announcement, Playstack said anyone who bought VOID/BREAKER during Early Access would receive the pack automatically at 1.0. Existing buyers should check their Steam ownership before paying for it separately. We have not verified delivery to an account, and the announcement should not be mistaken for our confirmation that every grant has arrived.

Steam price and scope
The U.S. Steam listing checked November 5 shows the base game at $17.99, reduced 40% from $29.99. Prices are regional and can change. That observation concerns the base game, not a claim that every optional extra is included for new buyers.
Our November Game Pass access guide covers the subscription schedule separately. This check concerns the Steam release and the publisher’s Steam ownership promises; it does not verify console build parity, subscription entitlement or performance on a particular machine. More coverage is in the PC gaming archive.
The practical split is simple: returning players have an announced finale to revisit and an extras entitlement to check. New buyers face a complete-release offer, but the old demo recommendation no longer applies.
