Mycopunk’s next major update is a plan for early 2027, not something to download today. Pigeons at Play’s November 3 roadmap sets out three free major updates over the next year. The first, Nemesis, has two named additions: a melee blade and a more linear dungeon ending in a boss. The other two updates do not yet have defined contents.
For a returning squad, Nemesis is the next concrete content checkpoint. It does not turn the roadmap into three finished expansions or establish an exact release date.
What Nemesis is meant to change
In the official roadmap, the studio says the blade is still in early development. Its mechanics are not detailed. The dungeon is intended to try a different mission structure, with a more linear route and a boss at the end.
The change concerns both a weapon and the shape of a mission, two specific things for returning players to watch. The post does not establish how long the dungeon will take, how the blade will fit existing builds or how either will play. We have not tested them.

Two more updates, still open
The developer has ideas for updates two and three, but explicitly leaves their contents undecided and invites suggestions. Treat those as a commitment to planned free support, not a confirmed list of features. There is no exact schedule for either in the announcement.
Our 1.0 release coverage concerns the earlier launch cycle. The roadmap is a separate future-support announcement. A fresh check of the complete ten-post official feed on November 8 UTC still returned the November 3 roadmap as its latest item.
At that check, the U.S. Steam store listed the base game at $14.99 without a discount and Steam Deck compatibility as Unsupported. Those are storefront observations, not our performance test; regional prices can differ.
For now, judge a purchase around the released game. If the blade or dungeon is your reason to return, wait for Nemesis’s actual release details. More coverage is in our gaming archive.
