Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is scheduled to reach Xbox on PC on November 18, 2026, with Play Anywhere support, Capcom announced on October 7. For Xbox players, the useful promise is access across console, Windows 11 and compatible handhelds without buying the game again under that program.
This is a future Xbox storefront expansion for an already released game. It does not mean native Xbox-PC play is available today. The current product page still lists console and cloud access.
What the store actually offers now
Our October 8 check of the US Xbox listing found the Standard edition at $69.99, with a March 13, 2026 release date. Its supported-platform section listed Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming, not PC.
The cloud notice matters: it requires both a game purchase and Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate. That is purchased-game streaming, not evidence that a subscription alone includes Stories 3. Nor does the current console price establish what the November PC listing will charge.
For someone deciding whether to buy now or wait, these are separate questions. Want local Windows play through Xbox? November 18 is the announced checkpoint. Want to stream an owned copy now? Check the cloud terms and your subscription instead. A cloud entry does not verify a native PC installation.

Shared progress is a promise, not an account test
Capcom says saves, additional game content and achievements will carry between supported devices. Xbox’s general Play Anywhere overview describes the same buy-once, cross-device arrangement.
That supports the announced benefit, but it does not answer every ownership question. We have not tested an existing account, a save transfer or a particular edition’s future entitlement. The announcement is not proof that a Steam purchase or physical copy qualifies. Buyers should check the product’s eventual program badge and their account entitlement before purchasing another copy for Windows.
Compatible handhelds also means compatible handhelds. It is not a promise for every portable PC, a Steam Deck certification or a measured frame-rate result. No PC requirements or exact unlock time have been verified for this report.
October’s trials are a different offer
There is an earlier way to sample the series. Capcom says Monster Hunter Stories and Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will each have a three-hour timed trial from October 22 through October 25, open to Xbox players without a Game Pass membership.
Stories 3 has its own existing trial, which Capcom says allows progress to carry into the full game. That is separate from the October 22–25 offer for the first two games. None of these trial terms makes the third game a newly confirmed Game Pass catalog addition.
A trial is a better buying check than an old console opinion treated as a PC verdict. In a May 21 edited console review retained from the Xbox listing, KaizerGod2004 praised the story and mechanics but disliked the gliding compared with the older games’ flight. That is one player’s preference, not a consensus, a PC performance finding or our firsthand review.

The practical next step is to match the offer to the device you want to use: current purchased cloud access, this month’s limited trials, or November’s promised native Xbox-PC support.
