Kingdom Hearts’ native collections are available on Switch 2 from October 8, with the US digital Collection I–III bundle listed at $74.99. The immediate buying question is whether you need the whole bundle and whether earlier cloud purchases qualify you for a discount. Native availability does not mean a free upgrade.
This is a post-launch buyer analysis, not a hands-on verdict. Nintendo’s announcement establishes the native release; it does not establish measured frame rates, battery life or how every collection performs. The US listings and public bundle price below were rechecked on October 10. Account eligibility and redemption were not tested.
One cloud purchase is not whole-bundle eligibility
The bundle description says a 50% discount on the native Switch 2 games and Collection I–III is available to owners of all the individual Kingdom Hearts cloud titles, or Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud.
Separate component pages offer a narrower route: owning the corresponding cloud version qualifies for 50% off that native Switch 2 component. That matters if you bought only part of the old cloud collection. Its terms do not establish a discount on the entire bundle from one purchase.
| Existing cloud ownership | Discount described in the US listings |
|---|---|
| HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX Cloud Version | 50% on the corresponding Switch 2 version |
| HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Cloud Version | 50% on the corresponding Switch 2 version |
| III + Re Mind Cloud Version | 50% on the corresponding Switch 2 version |
| All individual cloud titles, or Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud | 50% on the native Switch 2 games and Collection I–III bundle |
Those are published conditions, not a checkout guarantee. The $74.99 is the public US digital bundle price, not an observed discounted charge or a Polish price. No offer deadline was established in the checked text. Check the relevant product on your account before paying again. A familiar title is not enough to identify the applicable offer.

Three collections do not mean ten playable games
Collection I–III combines 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and III + Re Mind. The last product includes Kingdom Hearts III and its Re Mind DLC; the DLC in its name does not make this a DLC-only purchase.
Look inside the earlier collections too. 1.5+2.5 contains Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, II Final Mix and Birth by Sleep Final Mix, plus HD cutscene compilations of 358/2 Days and Re:coded. Those last two entries are not their original playable games.
2.8 contains Dream Drop Distance HD, the χ Back Cover movie and the short 0.2 Birth by Sleep episode. Nintendo’s count of ten experiences mixes playable content and viewing content. Choose by what you want to play or watch, rather than treating the count as ten complete games.
The inspected language lists do not include Polish. A Polish-language article about the launch is not evidence of Polish localization in these releases.

Budget storage by component
The Switch 2 product pages list 53.8 GB for 1.5+2.5, 27.6 GB for 2.8 and 46.4 GB for III + Re Mind. That adds to 127.8 GB of component sizes listed on October 10. It is a planning figure, not our measurement of an installed bundle; updates and downloads can differ. These listings also do not prove you must install everything together.
Nintendo says existing cloud saves can transfer to the native Switch 2 games. Separately, the 1.5+2.5 listing explicitly allows saves from its Switch version to transfer to Switch 2, but not back. Do not confuse that one-way rule with a tested migration procedure for every component. The native 1.5+2.5 collection also has a separate Switch version, so check the platform before buying.

The useful next step is smaller than another full purchase
Nintendo also announces a free Kingdom Hearts III demo. It is a practical starting point for someone weighing that component, though we have not installed or assessed it. The platform-exclusive Long Night Keyblade is advertised with III + Re Mind or the full bundle; a bonus does not answer the port-quality question.
Our earlier Nintendo Direct analysis covered the reveal context. This launch follow-up supplies the ownership and storage distinctions that announcement coverage could not settle. Follow the console archive for further checks. For now, choose the content you need, verify your account’s offer and keep advertised native availability separate from tested quality.
