Xbox’s first November Game Pass announcement splits into three calendar entries: additions to Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass, eight older games joining Essential on November 15, and thirteen departures that same day. A date on the roster does not mean every subscriber gets that game.
Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School makes the distinction clear. Xbox announces its November 5 day-one arrival for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, not Premium or Essential. The U.S. Xbox Store independently lists those two subscription options for the base game. Its console-online warning mentions Essential, Premium and Ultimate, but that is permission to play online on console, not a promise that each plan supplies the game.
The announced schedule
All dates below are November 2026, from Xbox’s November 3 announcement. U means Ultimate, P means Premium, and PC means PC Game Pass. P* marks a Premium addition to a game already listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

These are announced plan and platform categories, not every possible combination. PC Game Pass alone does not include cloud gaming, even when a row lists both Cloud and PC Game Pass. Xbox’s Handheld label means optimized for handheld play; it does not establish Steam Deck verification. Console is the announcement’s wording, not our confirmation of native Xbox One support.
The November 4 rows are today’s scheduled additions, not our confirmation of activation in every region. Availability varies by time, region, plan and platform. Check the local product page before changing a subscription or arranging a co-op session.
Essential expands on November 15
Xbox names Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Gears of War: Judgement, Halo: Spartan Assault, Perfect Dark, Viva Piñata and Viva Piñata: TIP. The announcement lists Cloud and Console for all eight, plus PC for Halo. These are catalogue additions to this tier, not eight new game releases. Title spellings here follow the announcement.
Catalogue access is not an edition upgrade
The U.S. Escape Academy 2 store checked November 4 lists the base preorder at $19.99 and Deluxe at $29.99. Deluxe lists a season pass. Neither the announcement nor the base-game subscription listing establishes that Game Pass includes that pass or the Deluxe edition. These are U.S. store prices, not subscription fees or worldwide offers.

Thirteen departures on November 15
The announced list is 1000xResist, Barbie Horse Trails, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Firefighting Simulator – The Squad, GoldenEye 007, Great God Grove, Moonlighter, Pigeon Simulator, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, Relic Hunters Legend, Total Chaos, Winter Burrow and Wreckfest.
GoldenEye is listed for Cloud and Console; the other departures list Cloud, Console and PC. This is a Game Pass library exit, not an announcement of store delisting or removal from other services. Xbox gives a date, not an exact removal hour. If one is already in your rotation, check that deadline before starting something new.
