Card Wars 2026 has real Kickstarter heat: pick duels or doubles

Adventure Time Card Wars 2026 is drawing a crowd, but the useful buying question is smaller: are you building a two-player collection or a four-player table? Cryptozoic’s campaign adds three Collector’s Packs for 1v1 play and a separate Doubles Trouble Booster Collection aimed at 2v2 games. Its announced Kickstarter closing date is November 25.

There is a concrete demand signal behind the cartoon characters. Kickstarter’s November 2 tabletop collection listed the project with 3,114 backers and 940% funding. Those are dated platform figures, not a live November 6 total or a verdict on how well the new cards play.

Start with the table you actually have

The new duel pairings are Adult Finn vs. Hunson Abadeer, GOLB vs. Banana Guard, and Prince Gumball vs. Marshall Lee. Cryptozoic says each Collector’s Pack contains two Hero cards, 80 game cards, eight Landscape tiles, tokens and an HP tracker. That gives a newcomer a clearer item to investigate than a cart full of accessories.

Doubles Trouble is a different proposition: 80 new cards for team play, including 30 Teamwork cards. The publisher also says its cards can be used in standard Card Wars decks. Do not treat the word “collection” as a promise that this booster box supplies every item your group needs. Check its requirements against the decks and rules you already own before adding it.

The launch-day offer is not today’s offer

The creator’s October 27 backer update tied free alternate-art Finn and Jake cards to backing within the first 24 hours, with a physical-item condition. That window has passed. Do not build a new pledge around an old “Day 1” banner.

The announcement advertised tiers starting at $75. That is a launch statement, not a verified delivered price: the full reward and FAQ details were not readable during this check. Confirm the current tier contents, shipping, taxes, language and delivery estimate on the campaign page before paying.

GameGuideDog has not played these new packs. The funding snapshot makes this a campaign worth inspecting, not a tested recommendation. Choose the play format first; compare the actual offer second. For other tabletop projects, see our Stomp reveal and board-games coverage.
